We will be happy to list more items if we can meet your needs but they will be listed and sold through our eBay store.
About Our Ceramics
Although we only list a few at a time, our neighbor's ceramic store has nearly 3,500 molds in stock so if you want something you don't see, please contact us and we'll add listings for any similar items either painted by the artist or in fired bisque ready for your paint.

Likewise, although we often list single or small number of available units we can normally provide an unlimited number. For small quantities, perhaps 10-20 identical units, we can usually deliver within 10 business days. For quantity orders you can specify any writing you desire in the base. These make great promotional or fundraising items.

Bisque

The local artist who produces such fantastic painted ceramic sculputures also makes available bisque which is the hard baked ceramic without any glazing or colors.

Bisque is ready to paint and will accept a variety of paints or coloring. Because these objects are not used to hold food they are fired to a lower temperature and unglazed.

The Process

Very wet clay is poured into molds and, when unpacked the clay is called greenware. The store sells greenware but only locally for those who wish to do custom glazing. It is too delicate to be shipped and still requires firing in a kiln.

The greenware is carefully cleaned and prepared, then fired in a kiln to become bisque which is as strong as any ceramic and is ready to paint.

We sell both ceramic art objects painted by the local artist and bisque versions of the same thing.
